Foster Books is a charming independent bookshop in Chiswick, London. I loved the beautiful deep green shopfront, the tables of books spilling out onto the pavement and the warm glow of the lights inside. It feels like one of those places where you could easily lose track of time while searching the shelves for your next favourite book.

I wanted to capture that cosy atmosphere in this original painting. It's hand-painted by me using ink, watercolours and coloured pencils on premium 400gsm 100% cotton watercolour paper, making every piece completely unique.
